Joey Chestnut Obliterates Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Offensive Line In Cake-Eating Competition

And the legend strikes again.

Competitive eating is one hell of a sport, and when you’re on the subject of it, you can’t help but to bring up the iconic Joey Chestnut.

He’s more known for his skills at the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest than anything, which takes place every 4th of July and is considered the Super Bowl of competitive eating, but if you didn’t know, the man competes all year round and breaks records while he does it. I’m serious, it doesn’t matter what food he’s eating, who he’s facing off against, when and where the eating is being done, Joey is going to win.

Let’s take the most recent case, for example. Saturday, Chestnut took on four members of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ offensive line in a cake-eating competition, with the contest actually taking place at the team’s Raymond James Stadium.

And holy moly, it was utter domination by Joey Chestnut.

WATCH:

The numbers are insane. In only five minutes, Joey Chestnut threw down 10.5 cake slices, which was more than the four Buccaneers offensive linemen COMBINED. Together, they only ate 9.5.

I mean, damn, these are big offensive linemen that we’re talking about. Athletes who need to eat, and eat a lot. And Joey still beats them?

This is absolutely remarkable stuff, ladies and gentlemen.
