CNN Makes Absurd Decision Broadcasting A Left-Wing Sexual Fantasy

CNN made an absolutely absurd decision in broadcasting its interview with independent left-wing journalist Taylor Lorenz on Sunday night.

Lorenz sat down with CNN correspondent Donie O’Sullivan to discuss Luigi Mangione, the accused murderer of United HealthCare CEO Brian Thompson, and how many women supposedly find the assassin attractive. (Subscribe to MR. RIGHT, a weekly newsletter about modern masculinity)

“So you’re going to see women especially that feel like, ‘Oh, my god, like, here’s this man who’s a revolutionary, who’s famous, who’s handsome, who’s young, who’s smart, he’s a person that seems there’s like this morally good man, which is hard to find,’” Lorenz told O’Sullivan.

What was O’Sullivan’s response? Not a single iota of pushback. No. Nothing of the sort. Of course, he wasn’t going to challenge Lorenz, and say something to the effect of, “Maybe someone who shoots another man in the back isn’t morally good.” Rather, O’Sullivan simply nodded, and then quipped, “Yeah, I just realized women will literally date an assassin before they swipe right on me. That’s where we’re at.”

Good one, Donie.

CNN should also be to blame for airing such a dumpster fire interview. Does anyone really care at this point that liberal women such as Lorenz are still swooning over Mangione? Lorenz was treated as an analyst of the trend, when in reality she was more of a participant, if anything.

And what about CNN’s effort to make their network more hospitable to conservatives and conservative ideas? Suffice it to say the liberal network will not be winning over any new viewers — maybe Americans who are moderate and lean Republican — with such shoddy interviews. So much for trying to be a non-partisan news organization.
