A man from Guatemala “found out” that the Trump administration isn’t playing when it comes to illegal immigration.
Intense video shows ICE agents using a sledgehammer on the car where the couple locked themselves inside. According to the foreign national’s lawyer, the wife was already granted asylum, and his client was going through the process.
Why they didn’t explain that to the ICE agents and reportedly chose to resist and defy law enforcement isn’t clear.
“The agents arrested 29-year-old Juan Francisco Méndez as his wife filmed the encounter,” Colin Rugg reported on X.
“The couple refused to open the door and said they were going to wait for their lawyer, Ondine Galvez Sniffin, to arrive,” Rugg continued.
“Méndez’s wife claims her husband has no criminal history and claims the agents were confused and arrested the wrong man. Mendez is currently being held at a facility in New Hampshire, according to local news reports.”

Patriots who are fed up with illegal immigration weren’t very sympathetic to the allegations of “no criminal records” and reports of it being the “wrong man” arrested.
No criminal record does not mean they havent committed a crime.
Is it a Guatemalan ILLEGAL immigrant?
Why were they waiting for a lawyer?
Why didnt they comply? They were asked politely multiple times.
FAFO.

The Abrego Garcia debacle will now result in every illegal claiming to be a “mistake” in the hopes that a virtue signaling clout-hungry Democrat politician with career boosting ambitions will fight to save them.

When law enforcement tells you to open the door or they’re breaking the window, maybe you should listen.
Additionally, being here illegally pretty will fulfills the “criminal history” bit.

If ICE had the warrant, they had the right.
You don’t get to ignore federal law and then play victim when it catches up with you.
This is what happens when we finally start enforcing the border again.

I have no sympathy, people here illegally, especially those who committed additional crimes, have had plenty of time to self deport. They know enough to get a lawyer but not enough to self deport.

When ICE shows up with a warrant, you comply—period. You don’t get to pick and choose when the law applies to you. If Méndez was truly innocent, his attorney can handle it through proper channels. But refusing to cooperate only raises questions. Our laws exist for a reason—follow…

You thought wrong. ICE goes after people in the country illegally. Those who have committed crimes get priority but the rest are still subject to deportation.
