CNN, MSNBC Skip Angel Mom’s Heartbreaking Story, Care More About Illegal Aliens [WATCH]

Speaking during the White House briefing, Morin said her daughter’s death was not a political issue but a matter of national security.

“This is about protecting Americans,” she said.

“This is about protecting our children.”

During her statement, Morin called out Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) for traveling to El Salvador to advocate on behalf of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an illegal alien and alleged MS-13 gang member who was deported from the U.S. and is currently being held in a Salvadoran prison.

“To have a senator from Maryland who didn’t even acknowledge or barely acknowledge my daughter and the brutal death that she endured, leaving her five children without a mother … so that he can use my taxpayer money to fly to El Salvador to bring back someone that’s not even an American citizen,” Morin said.

“Why does that person have more rights than I do, or my daughter, or my grandchildren?”

Following Morin’s remarks, President Donald Trump invited her into the Oval Office and embraced her.

“You’ve become a dear friend,” Morin said to the president, who told her, “She’s looking down on you” and “She’s proud of you,” referring to Rachel.

MSNBC instead focused on coverage of a rally held by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) in Montana, as well as an interview with political columnist John Heilemann.

CNN aired a segment on California Governor Gavin Newsom and coverage of the NBA.

White House Director of Communications Steven Cheung criticized the lack of coverage, highlighting the media’s focus on the plight of Kilmar Abrego Garcia while ignoring the words of a grieving American mother. “They don’t want to tell the story,” Cheung said.
