Tom Homan dismantles ‘media lie’ about ‘mistaken’ deportation of refuted MS-13 gangster

Border czar Tom Homan once again set corporate media’s “entire narrative ablaze” as he “dismantled” one MSNBC host’s take on Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s deportation.

Moving beyond allegations, President Donald Trump’s administration brought receipts this week to maintain that the left’s “Maryland Man” was in fact an illegal alien and member of MS-13 from El Salvador. Toward that end, Homan joined MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Friday, where he decimated host Joe Scarborough for perpetuating the “media lie” that Abrego Garcia’s deportation was “a mistake.”

“The administration has admitted it’s a mistake. All parties have admitted it’s a mistake. Do you admit that it’s a mistake? And is this something that should not happen again?” the host prompted during a lengthy interview with the border czar.

“Look … I don’t agree with the term that it was a mistake. I mean, I know that was put out in the beginning, but looking at this case, there’s a couple of things in play here,” began Homan, acknowledging initial suggestions that the deportation of Abrego Garcia had been in error. “First of all, it’s a mistake because they said he had a withholding — withholding of removal. The facts around that withholding have changed over the years.

The takedown that social media account The Vigilant Fox described by asserting Homan “just embarrassed Joe Scarborough live on MSNBC” continued as the official made one point abundantly clear, “For instance, when that decision was made on withholding, he wasn’t classified as a terrorist, which he is now.”

Trump had wasted no time on his first day back in office designating cartels and transnational organizations like Tren de Aragua and MS-13 as foreign terrorist organizations, and this week, the president himself shared photo evidence depicting Abrego Garcia’s gang affiliation tattoos.

Homan went on to break down other arguments that had been brought up in defense of the illegal alien accused of human trafficking and said, “The conditions of that withholding was a danger of a specific gang in El Salvador. That gang don’t exist anymore in El Salvador. Matter of fact, El Salvador is one of the safest nations in the region now because of the actions of President Bukele.”

“We believe the withholding order is set aside now that he’s a terrorist because it doesn’t pertain to those designated as terrorists,” explained the border czar. “He is a member of MS-13. Two federal judges have decided that. We have a police department who documented that. ICE intelligence has documented that. The El Salvadoran government says he’s an MS-13 gang member, who has since been designated as a terrorist.”

Meanwhile, following his PR stunt trip to El Salvador while other Democrats’ efforts to take their own taxpayer-funded trips were rejected, Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen maintained, “It is time for Trump to put up or shut up in Court. A FEDERAL JUDGE said ‘no evidence before the court connects Abrego Garcia to MS-13 or any criminal organization.’ No one is vouching for one man. We are standing up for EVERYONE’s right to due process under the Constitution.”

For his part, Homan concluded, “So the entire condition around that decision have changed,” as The Vigilant Fox summed up, “Scarborough tried to land a hit. Homan set the entire narrative ablaze.”
