Alarmist Dem warns Nicolle Wallace anyone could disappear under Trump: ‘You could be next’

Fearmongering against the Trump administration ratcheted all the way up to Holocaust references for one Democratic lawmaker who warned over deportations, “You could be next.”

Those who may have had lingering doubts about the objectives and allegiances of leftists could thank Massachusetts Rep. Seth Moulton (D) for clearing away any confusion Friday. It was during his appearance on MSNBC vying to bolster the narrative around Kilmar Abrego Garcia that he took hyperbole over the top and warned Americans were at risk of suffering a fate similar to the deported El Salvadoran national.

“Congressman,” began host Nicolle Wallace as she invited Moulton into an ongoing discussion about Abrego Garcia, “as we’ve been watching Sen. Van Hollen saying, protecting due process saying this, ‘If you violate it for one, you threaten it for all,’ your thoughts.”

“Well, that’s what people need to remember, is that this can happen to any of us. Every American needs to know, as you watch this on TV, that you could be next,” the Massachusetts lawmaker asserted without any evidence to suggest President Donald Trump or the administration posed an earnest threat to the continued presence of American citizens in their own country.

“This administration has no red lines. The Republicans in Congress who enable this administration clearly have no red lines. Sen. Van Hollen was asked about that as well. I see it with my colleagues, my Republican colleagues, in the House. I don’t know what their red lines are. And so this could happen to you next,” he went on.

It was then that Moulton added a new twist to the Democratic Party’s ongoing comparisons of Trump to WWII-era German dictator Adolf Hitler as he likened the deportation of violent illegal aliens to those who turned a blind eye to the atrocities of the Holocaust, referencing pastor Martin Niemöller’s famed “First They Came” that concludes, “Then they came for me — and there was no one left to speak for me.”

The suggestion that Trump would vie to deport (or worse) anyone who did not agree with him had been a growing theme on the left, with “Home Alone 2” director Chris Columbus voicing his own concern as he lamented the lasting inclusion of the wildly popular Trump cameo in his film.

“I can’t cut it,” he had told the San Francisco Chronicle. “If I cut it, I’ll probably be sent out of the country. I’ll be considered sort of not fit to live in the United States, so I’ll have to go back to Italy or something.”

Disregarded from the arguments of leftists like Moulton and Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen, following his PR stunt to meet with the alleged human trafficker Abrego Garcia whom the administration maintained was, without a doubt, a member of MS-13, were the facts that border czar Tom Homan had laid out earlier Friday on MSNBC when he refuted suggestions that the deportation was “a mistake.”

“He is a member of MS-13. Two federal judges have decided that. We have a police department who documented that. ICE intelligence has documented that. The El Salvadoran government says he’s an MS-13 gang member, who has since been designated as a terrorist,” asserted Homan to “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough.

Of course, Wallace, who’d recently allowed a Princeton University professor to peddle claims that Trump voters “chose a felon because we didn’t want to elect a black woman” and that the administration would allow people to “just be disappeared,” had no pushback for Moulton’s outrageous allegations.
