White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller appeared on “Hannity” Monday evening, emphasizing that the Trump administration will continue to highlight crimes committed by illegal migrants to force mainstream media outlets to cover the issue.
Earlier that day, the White House North Lawn was lined with booking photos of illegal migrants who have been charged or convicted of crimes, underscoring President Donald Trump’s renewed efforts to address illegal immigration and border security.

“Every day I see on my desk, Sean, examples of the illegal aliens that President Trump’s Department of Homeland Security and Justice have arrested and the heinous unthinkable crimes they’ve committed,” Miller said.
“The assault and rape of underage children, the violent beating and murder of moms, shooting innocent people in cold blood in the street. Crime after crime after crime.”
Miller criticized the corporate media for its lack of coverage regarding crimes tied to illegal migrants, stating, “As you said Sean, those sanctimonious pompous jerks in the left-wing corporate press refuse to cover any of these crimes, refuse to interview or cover any of their victims, do not demonstrate an ounce of human empathy for any of the suffering that Joe Biden’s border invasion, the Democrat Party’s border invasion, has wrought on this country.”

Since President Trump’s second inauguration, daily border encounters have dropped by 93%, and migrant crossings have fallen by 99.99%, according to a 100-day fact sheet released by the White House and shared with the Daily Caller News Foundation.
These numbers contrast sharply with figures from the Biden-Harris administration, during which there were an estimated 11 million border encounters over four years, with daily averages reaching as high as 15,000.
Miller described the administration’s new approach to raising awareness as effective, saying, “President Trump’s White House has forced, brilliantly, these outlets to acknowledge these crimes, to acknowledge these atrocities by putting these posters, these mugshots and their criminal histories right behind them as they stand there and do their shots every single day.”
He added, “We’re going to keep forcing the media to cover the atrocities committed by the illegal aliens that Joe Biden and the Democrat Party have brought into our country.”
During former President Joe Biden’s term, Democratic leaders and officials routinely downplayed the crisis at the southern border.
Former White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre notably attempted to shift blame for the crisis onto Congressional Republicans, despite consistent increases in migrant encounters throughout Biden’s administration.
The deaths of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray, 37-year-old Rachel Morin, and 22-year-old Laken Riley during the Biden years drew widespread national attention.
Each case involved illegal migrants accused of violent crimes, yet much of the corporate media coverage at the time appeared limited or deflective.
The Trump administration’s efforts to keep the spotlight on these cases and others reflect a broader strategy to reframe the national conversation around border security, illegal immigration, and the impact on American communities.
With the use of public displays and aggressive messaging, the administration has signaled that immigration enforcement and public safety will remain a core focus as it moves forward.
