Dem Rep Files to Impeach Trump as His Horrific Past Resurfaces [WATCH]

Rep. Shri Thanedar, D-Mich., announced Monday that he has introduced seven articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump.

In a news release, Thanedar claimed, “Donald Trump has repeatedly demonstrated that he is unfit to serve as President and represents a clear and present danger to our nation’s constitution and our democracy.”

The articles of impeachment accuse President Trump of multiple offenses, including “Obstruction of Justice and Abuse of Executive Power,” “Usurpation of Appropriations Power,” “Abuse of Trade Powers and International Aggression,” “Violation of First Amendment Rights,” “Creation of an Unlawful Office,” “Bribery and Corruption,” and “Tyrannical Overreach.”

“His unlawful actions have subverted the justice system, violated the separation of powers, and placed personal power and self-interest above public service.

We cannot wait for more damage to be done. Congress must act,” Thanedar stated.

Fox News Digital reported that it reached out to the White House for comment but did not receive a response by the time of publication.

The effort by Thanedar is unlikely to advance in the Republican-controlled House of Representatives, where any impeachment attempt against President Trump would face significant opposition.

During his first term, President Trump was impeached twice by the House.

In both cases, the Senate did not reach the required threshold to convict him.

The second impeachment occurred shortly before the end of his first term, with the Senate acquittal taking place after he had left office.

Rep. Thanedar, who was born in India, became an American citizen in 1988.

According to his official House biography, he has been serving in the U.S. House of Representatives since early 2023.

President Trump remains a dominant figure in American politics and continues to hold strong support among Republican voters, making any Democratic-led impeachment efforts in the current political climate unlikely to succeed.
