A radical leftist who’d been hired to indoctrinate, ahem, teach children unwisely took to social media to call for the execution of President Trump.
“The Secret Service has the perfect opportunity, if they choose to step up and take it,” JoAnna St. Germain, an English teacher at Waterville Senior High School, wrote on Facebook.
But St. Germain was just getting started.
“You are the ones with power. Coordinate. Take out every single person who supports Trump’s illegal, immoral, unconstitutional acts. Look at the sycophants and give them what they’re asking for,” she continued.
“Every other country sees what’s happening and they are taking stands. If you step up, we can avoid a civil war.”
St. Germain defended her statements, arguing such an act would not be “assassinating a president” because a “president is a person duly elected by the American people.”
After receiving backlash for her ignorant and unhinged post, St. Germain said she knew her job would be in jeopardy for her post, but claimed it was worth it since Trump is comparable to Adolf Hitler.
St. Germain’s statement reached beyond Facebook, where Libs of TikTok responded on X: “These are the people teaching your kids.”

St. Germain later tried to backtrack her statement regarding Trump supporters.
“I have no beef with Republicans, I have no beef with MAGA,” she wrote, according to the Daily Mail.
“I meant that those in the room with Trump, who are permitting and approving his egregious actions, need to be held accountable.
“I love each and every one of you, and I understand why you’re angry with me… My love holds no quarter for people in power actively harming those I love.”
After expressing her supposed “love for everyone,” she tripled down on her calls to kill President Trump.
“I’m not backtracking. I’m clarifying,” she wrote. “Trump is an immoral dictator wannabe. He needs to have a conversation with Jesus.”
“People are quite angry with me for stating openly that Trump and his cronies need to die,” she continued in another post, finally concluding the diatribe with a “f**k you” to her crtics.
It’s not clear if Waterville High School has taken action over her post.
