Homan delivers ominous message for those harboring illegals

Border czar Tom Homan delivered an ominous message this week to individuals who cross the line in offering sanctuary to illegal immigrants.

The Trump official suggested that legal action is coming down the pike as Democrats double down on protecting illegal aliens, including those suspected on being violent gang members — this coming after two judges were arrested for attempting to harbor and conceal illegal immigrants.

“The President signed an executive order just this week threatening to defund sanctuary cities. Why not just arrest the leaders who are harboring and shielding illegal aliens, actually terrorists, from deportation?” a reporter asked Homan.

“Wait until you see what’s coming,” the border czar replied.

The reporter followed up by asking about Wisconsin Gov.Tony Evers (D) “sending directives to state agencies to not comply with ICE and actually stop your deportation efforts?”

“Wait until you see what’s coming. I meant what I said,” Homan said with a smile. “You can not support what we’re doing, and you can support sanctuary cities if that’s what you want to do. But if you cross that line of impediment or knowingly harboring and concealing illegal aliens, that is a felony, and we will treat it as such.”

The Trump administration is being hamstrung by radical judges, to include the Supreme Court, in its efforts to deport illegal immigrants and there has been talk about a plan to suspend the writ of habeas corpus to circumvent the judicial activism.

“I hope we get cooperation from the courts, because we have thousands of people that are ready to go out and you can’t have a trial for all of these people,” Trump said last week from the Oval Office.

If state officials are actively obstructing federal law enforcement, they shouldn’t be in office; they should be in court. Homan’s not bluffing, and neither is the Constitution.
