A former Trump administration pardon attorney who was fired for insubordination has since taken to TikTok to throw tantrums about the administration.
As previously reported, former pardon attorney Elizbeth “Liz” G. Oyer was terminated in March for refusing to sign off on Hollywood actor Mel Gibson’s gun rights being restored.
After being fired, she first ran to media to cry about her termination. She later ran to congressional Democrats to accuse the Trump Department of Justice of intimidation.

Weeks later, Oyer has now settled in at TikTok, where she posts frequent videos kvetching about her lost job and the Trump Department of Justice’s pardon actions.
In her latest videos, she complained specifically about how President Donald Trump’s pardon decisions have cost victims $1 billion by wiping out the defendants’ required restitution payments.
“When you’re convicted of a financial crime, like fraud or embezzlement, the law requires you to pay back the money that you stole,” she said. “It’s called restitution. But the president has the power to grant pardons, which can wipe out your entire sentence, including your obligation to pay back the money.”
She cited a couple of examples, including that of “Lady Trump” (aka Michele Fiore), a former Las Vegas City councilwoman who was convicted last October on six counts of wire fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
A day after BizPac Review reported about her being denied a new trial, President Trump suddenly pardoned her.

“Fiore was an elected official in Las Vegas, Nevada,” Oyer said. “Fiore was raising money to build a memorial to a fallen police officer. She raised $70,000, but instead of spending that money on the memorial, she spent it on plastic surgery, her daughter’s wedding, and her daughter’s rent.”
“That’s fraud. A jury convicted Fiore, but then Donald Trump swooped in and granted her a full and unconditional pardon,” she added.
In another video, she complained about Trump’s pardon of Trevor Milton, who was convicted in 2022 of securities and wire fraud and ordered to pay millions in restitution.

“Trevor Milton started a company called Nikola, which was supposedly going to build the world’s first electric powered semi truck,” she said. “Milton raised hundreds of millions of dollars from investors. In the process, he became a billionaire. The problem was that Milton didn’t actually have the technology to make this work. His company was a fraud.”
“So, how did Milton get this pardon? Well, he did two things that we know about. One is he made $1.8 million in donations to Trump’s campaign. Two, he hired an attorney named Brad Bondi, who just so happens to be the brother of Trump’s Attorney General, Pam Bondi. That turned out to be an excellent investment, because now Milton has a pardon worth over $675 million,” she added.
While some of Oyer’s complaints do appear to sound legitimate, critics are having none of it, given that she’s no peach herself.
“She was largely responsible for Joe Biden’s unprecedented abuse of the pardon power,” one critic noted. “That includes clemency for more than 6,000 criminals (some of whom were violent).”
Recall also that former President Joe Biden pardoned his own son, despite the copious evidence against him.
Liz Oyer, was the former head of the Justice Department’s pardon office.

Critics also point to her utter lack of any sympathy for the Jan. 6th rioters, many of whom were tossed into the hole for an extended period of time without any due process.
