Joe and Jill Biden are scrambling to clean up their image after leaving the White House and America in shambles. And in true Biden-family fashion, they’re likely to make bank while doing so.
“[Jill Biden] could write a very explosive book if she wanted to,” a former White House aide told the Daily Mail. A potential joint book deal between the couple could earn them upwards of $30 million, according to DM insiders.
What’s stopping them?
Joe Biden’s obvious cognitive decline and how to effectively spin it, according to the Daily Mail.
But, oh, the stories Jill could tell!
“She’s his grudge-holder for sure, and there are definitely plenty of people she will never talk to again, but it’s unlike her to take public swings at specific individuals or lay blame. It’s just not her style. That’s what is going to sell books, though,” a former Biden aide said about the apparent rift between the Bidens and prominent Democrats.
According to the Daily Mail, a potential $30 million doesn’t get the Bidens excited, given that Barack and Michelle Obama received a whopping $65M advance for their memoirs.
At the same time, the Bidens haven’t been in high demand for speaking engagements or events, so a mere 30 mil might have to do.
“Given the financial state that [Hunter] is in and the lack of interest in paid speaking engagements for both of them, they could be forced to think twice about how personal and specific they get in their books,’ a former aide said.
Desperate times call for desperate measures!
Speaking of desperate…

It’s ok to laugh out loud.
As the Bidens launch into a “save face” media tour and mull a potential book deal, they face at least two upcoming books that reportedly rip them to shreds.
“Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again,” by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson, comes out May 20th.
Josh Dawsey, Tyler Pager, and Isaac Arnsdorf have a book entitled “2024: How Trump Retook the White House and the Democrats Lost America”, coming out on July 8.
And lest we forget, two books that are already out:
Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes’ book “Fight: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House” and Chris Whipple’s “Uncharted: How Trump Beat Biden, Harris, and the Odds in the Wildest Campaign in History” are both critical of the Biden’s according to DM.
That’s a lot for the Bidens to overcome, and it doesn’t seem like an appearance on “The View” will do them any favors, according to backlash on X:
NIGHTCAP QUESTION:
Joe Biden’s first interview after leaving the White House was with an international news outlet, and his second is scheduled for tomorrow on The View.
Are people still taking Joe Biden seriously? Is anyone paying attention to what he has to say?
