Education Department Spends £300,000 on LinkedIn Advertising in One Year
Bridget’s education department apparently has a need to promote itself. Another huge advertising bill picked up by the taxpayer…
From January 2024 to January 2025 the DfE spent £308,354 on LinkedIn advertising alone to “support the delivery of strategic aims and government priorities.” Spend has risen since Labour’s election to a peak of £49,388 in January this year. For that you could:
- Hire ten teachers.
- Buy 1,461 school whiteboards.
- Fill 4,343 potholes.
The taxpayer may have a view on which should be prioritised. UK DOGE recommends costs are cut here…
