‘Trump’s gonna pardon Diddy,’ Suge Knight, imprisoned music exec says rapper isn’t worried

Incarcerated music executive Suge Knight believes Sean “Diddy” Combs may receive a miracle even if he’s found guilty of sex trafficking.

Diddy is currently on trial, but all of the testimony, evidence, and prosecutorial efforts may be for naught if Knight’s prediction comes to pass. Speaking to Chris Cuomo, host of his eponymous NewsNation show, the incarcerated co-founder of Death Row Records revealed that he believes the disgraced music mogul will “be alright” and may have even garnered favor with some in government.

“I still feel that Puffy’s gonna be alright and have a fair shot at it because Puffy didn’t – he’s not a dummy,” he said. “And I’m quite sure somebody is gonna talk to those jurors and convince one or two of them, and that’s all you need is one. So at the end of the day, it’s gonna be a real exciting situation, but I think he’s gonna be all right.”

“Suge, do you think he’s gonna be all right because someone’s gonna tamper with the jury? Is that what you’re trying to say?” Cuomo pressed.

“He’s got enough influence, and I’m pretty sure, it seems like the prosecution is that bad against him. You know, I think he’s got some favors with the government. I think they’re gonna show him a little leeway. It might not seem like it when it’s all said and done, but I don’t think he has nothing to worry about, and I don’t think he’s worried because he’s gonna be federal, and if he gets convicted, [President Donald] Trump’s gonna pardon him,” Knight said.

“You think the president of the United States would pardon Sean Combs for sex trafficking?” Cuomo asked, visibly stunned.

“Shit, he pardoned Michael Harris,” Knight said, referring to his formerly-incarcerated Death Row Records co-founder who had his attempted murder, drug dealing, and kidnapping sentence commuted in 2021.

“They don’t care about that, it’s all about, you know, what’s in it for the long run.”
