Nancy Pelosi seeks to immortalize J6 with plaque at US Capitol

Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) continues to push a stale January 6 narrative, exploiting law enforcement as usual to establish political points.

While the infamous protest at the U.S. Capitol smells more like a set-up by insiders with every passing day, Pelosi wants to immortalize events on that fateful day with a plaque “to recognize the brave officers who defended our democracy on January 6.”

Which begs the question: What about the officers who opened doors and ushered protesters inside, even escorting some as they made their way around the building?

“It’s been 792 days—it’s past time for Republicans to follow the law and finally install the Capitol plaque honoring our law enforcement heroes,” Pelosi posted on X, while sharing remarks she made in front of the Capitol.

The same law enforcement Democrats spent considerable time trying to defund after the death of Saint George Floyd.

Remarkably, some Democratic lawmakers like Rep. Madeleine Dean (PA) are still falsely claiming that J6 protesters “killed police officers” that day, not that the so-called fact-checkers can be bothered to set the record straight.

But social media users are onto Pelosi’s scam — here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on the social media platform X:
