FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino are standing firm on one of the most controversial questions of the 21st century: What really happened to Jeffrey Epstein?
Appearing on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo, the two top FBI officials addressed the lingering speculation surrounding Epstein’s 2019 death in a federal prison cell. When Patel stated his belief that Epstein committed suicide, Bartiromo was quick to challenge him. (RELATED: John Kennedy Asks Kash Patel Point-Blank If Jeffrey Epstein Killed Himself)
NEW: Kash Patel and Dan Bongino double down on Jeffrey Epstein claim, “He killed himself.”
It’s the most infamous death of the century.
And when Kash Patel told Maria Bartiromo he believed Epstein committed suicide, she pushed back.

“You said Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide. People don’t believe it,” Bartiromo said, echoing widespread skepticism fueled by Epstein’s powerful connections and the bizarre lapses in jail protocol on the night of his death.
Patel didn’t budge.
“They have a right to their opinion,” he said. “But as someone who’s been a public defender, a prosecutor, who’s worked in that prison system and been inside segregated housing — you know a suicide when you see one. And that’s what that was.”
Dan Bongino, known for his no-nonsense commentary, stepped in to back Patel unequivocally.
“He killed himself,” Bongino said flatly. “Again, you want me to—I’ve seen the whole file. He killed himself.”
The pair’s insistence comes as renewed attention surrounds Epstein’s associates and the unresolved questions about how such a high-profile inmate, with so much damaging information on global elites, was left unsupervised in a federal facility.
While conspiracy theories continue to swirl, Bongino and Patel said that from their vantage point—armed with access to classified investigative material—the evidence supports suicide, not foul play.
Despite public doubts, Bongino doubled down: “He killed himself.”
