‘This is Serious Stuff’ [WATCH]

Vice President JD Vance raised concerns Monday about former President Joe Biden’s ability to lead during his final years in office, following the public disclosure of Biden’s prostate cancer diagnosis, as reported by The New York Post.

Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force Two on the return trip from Rome, Vance said Biden was not in “good enough health” to perform the duties of the presidency and pointed to a long-running lack of transparency from Biden’s inner circle.

“We really do need to be honest about whether the former president was capable of doing the job,” Vance said. “Whether it was doctors or whether it was staffers around the former president, I don’t think he was able to do a good job for the American people.”

Biden’s office confirmed Sunday that the 82-year-old had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer that had spread to his bones.

According to the statement, the cancer is hormone-sensitive and could be treated, though questions remain about how such an advanced case was missed despite regular physicals.

Vance, 40, stated that his criticism wasn’t politically motivated but rather rooted in the public’s right to know about the former president’s health condition.

“In some ways I blame him less than I blame the people around him,” Vance added. “Why didn’t the American people have a better sense of his health picture?”

Biden aides have previously come under scrutiny for managing the president’s schedule and appearances in ways that suggested health concerns were being hidden.

That included limiting unscripted public events, using a shorter staircase to board Air Force One, and modifying footwear to help prevent falls.

“This is serious stuff,” Vance said. “This is a guy who carries around the nuclear football for the world’s largest nuclear arsenal. This is not child’s play.”

President Donald Trump issued a statement through Truth Social on Sunday offering well-wishes to Biden and his family. “We extend our warmest and best wishes to Jill and the family, and we wish Joe a fast and successful recovery,” Trump wrote.

The timing of the announcement has also raised questions in the medical community, with some doctors wondering how a metastatic prostate cancer diagnosis went undetected during Biden’s time in office, especially given his annual medical exams.

Vance’s remarks highlight ongoing concerns about presidential fitness, transparency, and the responsibilities that come with occupying the highest office in the country.
