• Provisional estimate for total long-term emigration for 2024 is 517,000, up 11% on the previous year.
• Non-EU+ nationals saw a 49% decrease in immigration for work compared with 2023. This was the largest decrease…
• Drop n immigration for study was around 17%, for the same period.
• An 86% reduction in the number of study dependants.
• A 35% (81,000) decrease in work dependants.
• Health and Care Worker visa grants have seen sustained falls for both main applicants and dependants since late 2023.
• The previous peak has not be revised up.
