The European Commission is suing various member states for failure to enforce EU digital censorship laws which critics call a dangerous attack on free speech.
The Commission is taking legal action against the Czech Republic, Spain, Cyprus, Poland, and Portugal in the Court of Justice of the European Union for failing to implement the Digital Services Act (DSA) effectively.
It said these countries had failed to designate or empower a national Digital Services Coordinator and to lay down the rules on penalties applicable to infringements under the DSA.
