The Washington Post has finally deleted the shameful, outrageous post it made in the wake of the murder of two Israeli embassy staffers.
As BizPac Review previously reported, WaPo’s X post sparked a flood of outrage for asking “Where Jews belong,” even though the piece itself was slightly less offensive than the article’s social media caption.
“The killings of two Israeli Embassy staffers amplify confusion felt since the Oct. 7, 2023, attacks about where Jews belong,” the now-deleted post read.
Rabbi Ruth Balinsky Friedman, a Jewish text teacher, asked the question as the Jewish community reeled from yet another shocking attack on its people.
“Where do we as a people belong? Where do I belong?”
If the answer is the United States, “Why are people shooting us in broad daylight?” Friedman pondered.
Critics of the post were quick to point out that radical leftism, which the media rarely reports on, is one of the reasons that Jews are not feeling safe in America.
80 years ago they were marched into gas chambers or worse! Now you’re asking where they belong after 2 were shot down like rabid dogs in the street. The left calls conservatives Nazi while they are anti semite and murder Jews. The hypocrisy is overwhelming

Indeed, the downplaying of left-wing hatred of Jews is often classified as free speech while the media attempts to paint anyone to the right of Karl Marx as an alt-right Nazi.
For years, we’ve been told that far-right antisemitism is the “real” problem because it actually kills Jews, whereas far-left antisemitism—disguised as anti-Zionism—may be ugly, but is ultimately harmless.
That distinction went down in a hail of bullets last night in DC.

It took WaPo a day to react to the backlash by deleting the offending post.

X users rejoiced at the removal:
It has done enough damage already. If a right-wing newspaper had published such a thing, we would (rightly) hear about it for months and it would discredit the outlet.

I guess enough people told @washingtonpost where to go?

How did NONE of them read that and think, “wait, maybe that isn’t quite what we’re trying to say? That sounds pretty bad.”
