Dan Bongino says FBI ‘closing in’ on J6 pipe bomb suspects

Four years after the events of January 6, it seems we are finally close to an answer regarding the suspicious pipe bombs.

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino joined “Fox & Friends” to signal his confidence that the bureau is “closing in on some suspects.” Critics have maintained their suspicions surrounding the event, which saw pipe bombs placed near the Republican and Democratic National Committees’ headquarters. While the federal government was busy tracking down every man and woman who was close to the Capitol that day, there has been no news on the person suspected of planting those bombs despite the significant threat posed by the explosives.

Many still wonder why the Biden administration did not go after the planter of the bombs with the same fervor as J6 defendants.

However, it appears that Bongino will be getting curious Americans the answers they have been searching for very soon.

“The second we got in, I put a team on it and I said, ‘I want answers on this,’” Bongino explained. “And I’m pretty confident that we’re closing in on some suspects.”

Prior to taking on the role of deputy director, Bongino told his podcast audience that the FBI had lied about the facts surrounding the pipe bombs because they worried people would discover it was an “inside job.” Now that he’s in a position to prove that claim, folks from all sides are pressuring him to act.

Bongino says that seeing this case through to its conclusion, as well as the 2022 Dobbs decision leak and the cocaine found in the White House, will help to restore public faith in the FBI.
