Travis Decker Shown on Doorbell Video Before Alleged Killing of Three Daughters [WATCH]

A statewide manhunt is underway for 32-year-old Travis Decker, a military veteran and father of three, who is wanted on multiple charges after his daughters were found dead in a remote campground in Washington state, as reported by The New York Post.

Authorities have released the latest surveillance footage of Decker in an effort to track his whereabouts.

According to the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office, recently obtained doorbell camera footage shows Decker approaching a residence, knocking, and then rubbing his hand up and down the door.

The video, captured before the murders, was released Wednesday evening and represents the most current visual evidence of Decker’s movements.

Decker is facing three counts of murder and three counts of kidnapping following the deaths of his daughters — Paityn, 9, Evelyn, 8, and Olivia, 5.

Their bodies were discovered Monday near an embankment at Rock Island Campground, approximately 18 miles west of Leavenworth, Washington.

The children’s mother, Whitney Decker, reported them missing Friday night after Decker failed to return them following a court-approved custody visit on May 30.

Authorities issued an endangered missing persons alert the following day. The alert was canceled when the bodies were found near Decker’s abandoned white 2017 GMC Sierra truck, which had two bloody handprints on the tailgate.

Investigators say the girls were found with plastic bags over their heads and zip-tied wrists. Initial findings suggest the cause of death was likely asphyxiation.

Decker, a member of the Washington National Guard since 2021, has a history of survival training and experience living off the grid. Officials believe he may be hiding in the wilderness and could have stashed supplies in the area prior to the killings.

Chelan County Sheriff Mike Morrison stated during a Wednesday evening press conference that Decker may have been “caching” supplies in the area, suggesting he had prepared for extended off-grid survival.

“He has the ability and knowledge to survive for long periods of time,” Morrison said. He also acknowledged assistance from the U.S. Marshals in developing new leads regarding Decker’s possible mindset and movements.

Authorities describe Decker as 5 feet 8 inches tall, 190 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He has multiple tattoos on his arms, a bushy mustache, and was last seen wearing his hair in a ponytail.

Law enforcement officials warn that Decker should be considered dangerous and should not be approached.

A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to his capture. Anyone with knowledge of Decker’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office or the U.S. Marshals Service.
