However, things took a dramatic turn in recent months, and according to sources, the final straw came when Lively allegedly threatened to release a decade’s worth of private messages unless Swift publicly supported her in a high-profile legal battle.

The court documents further claimed that Swift was present at a meeting between Baldoni, Lively, and Reynolds at their New York penthouse.

However, a source close to Swift disputed this timeline, insisting that the singer only arrived after the meeting had begun and played no role in the discussion.

Regardless of her level of involvement, the very mention of Swift’s name in the lawsuit appears to have been enough for the singer to cut all ties.

Swift Feels Betrayed And Exploited

According to a source who spoke to the Daily Mail, Swift feels deeply betrayed by Lively, particularly given the personal nature of their decade-long friendship.

“There is no recovering from this,” the insider said. “Their friendship is done.”

“What Blake has done was exploit the Godmother of her children and manipulate the public into thinking that she was watching out for her best interests,” the source added, implying that Lively’s legal tactics were not only self-serving but damaging to Swift’s reputation.

Despite Swift’s silence, Lively has reportedly not given up on mending the broken relationship.
