AOC’s ‘Kilmar is all of us’ tweet aligns her with human trafficking

It didn’t take long for a Squad member’s virtue signal on Kilmar Abrego Garcia to age like sour milk as she now appeared to be aligned with human trafficking.

When not busy “Fighting Oligarchy” or racking up ethics violations and possible Justice Department investigations for coaching illegal aliens on avoiding deportations, New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez joined her fellow Democrats in peddling narratives. Now, less than two months after the highly favored future White House wannabe asserted “Kilmar is all of us,” the Salvadoran national faced federal charges for human smuggling.

Juxtaposed with the latest news of leftists’ favorite “Maryland man” returning to the United States to face a judge in Tennessee, Western Lensman shared Ocasio-Cortez’s April 15, 2025 post that read, “Kilmar Abrego Garcia has been sitting in a Salvadoran prison for over a month because the Trump Admin made a mistake. Now, the Admin is defying SCOTUS & refusing to bring him back. If we allow Trump to violate Kilmar’s rights, none of our rights are safe.”

“Kilmar,” asserted the congresswoman, “is all of us.”

Speaking at a press conference, Attorney General Pam Bondi made clear that it was the government’s position that the allegations against Abrego Garcia expanded beyond the one known traffic stop and that “This was his full-time job, not a contractor. He was a smuggler of humans and children and women. He made over 100 trips, the grand jury found, smuggling people throughout our country.”

Court documents filed by the prosecution argued that the Salvadoran national had transported “approximately 50 undocumented aliens throughout the United States per month for several years.”

If convicted, the man who elected Democrats took international trips to defend with accompanying photo ops faced an effective life sentence as each individual smuggled comes with a maximum penalty of 10 years imprisonment,

“The government disappeared Kilmar to a foreign prison in violation of a court order,” claimed Abrego Garcia’s attorney, Simon Sandoval-Moshenberg, in a statement. “Now, after months of delay and secrecy, they’re bringing him back, not to correct their error but to prosecute him. This shows that they were playing games with the court all along. Due process means the chance to defend yourself before you’re punished, not after.”

With the Salvadoran national’s arraignment and detention hearing scheduled for June 13, while other lawmakers attempted to take a victory lap on due process, to say reactions to how Ocasio-Cortez’s post had aged were less than favorable would be an understatement.

In addition to asserting that her take proved open border Democrats were in fact the party of human trafficking, reactions on social media couldn’t help but call out the planned investment from the Democratic National Committee that was apparently needed to figure out why they had trouble relating to voters outside their base.
