President Donald Trump’s visit to McDonald’s in Feasterville, Pennsylvania, is one of the most iconic moments of his 2024 campaign.
A behind-the-scenes look at the president’s fry-slinging adventure, courtesy of the multi-part series “The Art of the Surge”, shows how Trump learned to make the fast-food chain’s famous French fries.
“I’ve always wanted to work at McDonald’s, and I never did,” he said to one of the employees.
He shared some fun moments with those in the drive-thru who were hoping to get their hands on a Happy Meal made by the man himself.
“What a good-looking family,” he said to one carful of happy customers.
“It’s going to be the best you’ve ever had. It had better be. I made it myself,” he said to another, handing over the order he had just made.
Customers gushed over their new favorite fry cook, giving their encouragement to the president as he and his Democratic opponent raced toward the election’s finish line.
“Make America great again!” shouted one excited driver.
“45-47, you’ve got this, sir,” said another, shaking hands with the man who would go on to win in November.
“I could do this all day. I wouldn’t mind this job,” Trump said to a nearby camera, conveying his excitement.
