ICE Protesters Burn Cars, Wave Mexican Flags, National Guard Deployed [WATCH]

A masked individual on a dirt bike was filmed waving a Mexican flag and circling a burning vehicle during weekend riots in Los Angeles, as protests erupted in response to recent immigration enforcement actions.

The incident was captured in drone footage that quickly spread across X, drawing widespread attention and criticism.

Additional photos and video footage showed other protesters also displaying Mexican flags while facing off with federal agents during the riots.

The imagery has fueled political responses from both sides of the aisle as tensions over immigration enforcement continue to escalate.

Vice President J.D. Vance condemned the actions of the protesters and pointed to what he described as a broader disregard for U.S. immigration law.

“Insurrectionists carrying foreign flags are attacking immigration enforcement officers, while one half of America’s political leadership has decided that border enforcement is evil,” Vance wrote in a post on X late Saturday.

Senator Katie Britt of Alabama also weighed in on social media, calling for increased support for federal immigration authorities.

“Defund sanctuary jurisdictions. Fund ICE,” Britt posted on X.

Senator Bernie Moreno of Ohio issued a direct warning to individuals in the country illegally.

“Simple message to illegal aliens: leave now. You broke our laws to get here and you will be deported,” Moreno wrote on his X account.

The National Republican Congressional Committee also responded to the viral footage.

Christian Hernandez, a spokesperson for the group, posted, “There’s no confusion anymore. Democrats are putting illegals first and Americans last.”

Some Democratic supporters expressed concern that the footage could serve as political leverage for President Donald Trump and members of his administration.

Armand Domalewski, a self-identified Democrat, suggested online that the protester might have been planted to create favorable optics for the Trump administration.

“I swear this guy has to be a Republican plant,” Domalewski wrote on X.

Australian political analyst Drew Pavlou also reacted to the video, writing, “This is like the perfect propaganda footage for Trump and Steven Miller. Why do people do this?”

President Trump ordered the deployment of 2,000 National Guard troops to Los Angeles early Sunday morning in response to the escalating unrest.

The decision followed protests that intensified after U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) conducted raids targeting undocumented migrants on Friday.

The Los Angeles protests turned violent on Saturday.

At least one individual was arrested for allegedly throwing a Molotov cocktail that injured three officers.

Additional arrests were made throughout the day as federal agents attempted to control the crowds and restore order.

California Governor Gavin Newsom criticized the president’s decision to deploy troops, calling it “purposefully inflammatory” and warning that it “will only escalate tensions.”

The situation in Los Angeles remains fluid as National Guard forces assist local and federal authorities in maintaining security and deterring further violence.

The White House has not announced any changes to immigration enforcement policies in response to the protests.
