Elon Deletes Attacks, Backs Trump Over Violent LA Riots

Tech entrepreneur Elon Musk appeared to express support for President Donald Trump over the weekend, following Trump’s firm response to the riots unfolding in Los Angeles, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

The unrest began after violent demonstrators opposed the deportation of illegal immigrants, prompting a swift federal response.

Elon Musk and Donald Trump are pictured speaking at the ‘Make America Great Again Victory Rally’ at the Capital One Arena in Washington.

On Sunday evening, Musk shared a post from Trump’s Truth Social account with his 220 million followers on the X platform. The post criticized California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass over their handling of the riots.

“Governor Gavin Newscum and ‘Mayor’ Bass should apologize to the people of Los Angeles for the absolutely horrible job that they have done, and this now includes the ongoing L.A. riots,” Trump wrote.

“These are not protesters, they are troublemakers and insurrectionists. Remember, NO MASKS!”

Musk reposted the message with an American flag emoji.

Earlier in the evening, he had also reposted a message from Vice President J.D. Vance, who wrote, “This moment calls for decisive leadership. The president will not tolerate rioting and violence,” accompanied by two American flag emojis.

The show of support comes after a series of now-deleted posts from Musk last week in which he attacked Trump, called for his impeachment, and made unsubstantiated claims linking him to Jeffrey Epstein.

The sudden reversal has drawn attention from political observers and commentators alike.

Trump, when asked by reporters about Musk’s recent behavior, responded that the billionaire had “lost his mind” and added that he was “not particularly” interested in speaking with him at the moment.

Musk’s father, Errol Musk, downplayed the feud and predicted a resolution. “I haven’t spoken to him, but I did send him a message, you know, telling him to make sure this fizzles out,” Errol Musk told reporters.

“It’s not just in your home with your own family, but at all levels, people struggle to find common ground with each other.”

Errol Musk also expressed confidence in Trump’s support across the country, stating:

“Trump, of course, will prevail because he has been voted in by the majority of the people in America. I’ve just spent three weeks in America. The people are, I would like to say 80%, but actually 100% behind Trump.”

Though it remains unclear whether Musk and Trump will fully reconcile, the tech mogul’s recent actions suggest a shift in tone amid the ongoing national unrest.
