LOFTUS: ‘No Kings’ Destroys Any Progress Dems Made On Crucial Post-Election Goal

For normal, straight men, the Democratic Party is still very much like a lukewarm Bud Light: completely tasteless, unappealing, even disgusting.

After losing young men to Donald Trump in 2024, Democrats have since embarked on a quest (perhaps fruitlessly) to bring males back into the center-left fold. Among other ideas, they are searching for their own version of Joe Rogan. It does not appear to be working, however, and this weekend’s anti-Trump, No Kings protests, rife with chaos, disorder, violence, and signs like “ICE Gets No P*ssy,” made the Democratic Party’s brand even more unpalatable for men. Daily Caller editor-at-large Geoffrey Ingersoll put it well in his State of the Day newsletter Monday. The No Kings protests were “downright ugly.”

“The people were ugly. Their behavior was ugly. Their overall message was ugly. The fact that the military had to be deployed to protect federal property, the imagery of that too was ugly,” he wrote.

Ingersoll went on to contrast the left’s anti-Trump rallies with the Army’s 250th anniversary parade, a “peaceful, patriotic, family-oriented” event that probably succeeded in inspiring a new generation of kids to join the military.

“They showed off their tanks and trucks and planes and helicopters. They had static displays on the mall that Americans of all stripes could actually participate in. They did fitness competitions. They set up a full-fledged obstacle course and then ran it to the awe of onlookers.”

Two sides laid bare: left-wingers shrieking at the sky, toting creepy-looking Trump dolls; a pretty awesome (and very orderly) celebration of the United States and its military.

We all know which side the teenage boy, old enough to vote in 2026, who has slightly more common sense than the liberal kids at school, will pick. It won’t be the side crying out, “No Kings Only Queens.”
