President Donald Trump’s sons announced a new venture for the family business.
The Trump Organization’s newest business involves mobile phones, with Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump announcing Monday the launch of Trump Mobile.
In making the announcement from Trump Tower in New York City, the president’s eldest son noted the significance of the day, being the 10-year anniversary of when now-President Trump announced he was running for office.
“We’ve partnered with some of the greatest people in the industry to make sure that real Americans can get true value from their mobile carriers,” Trump Jr. said at an event at Trump Tower in Manhattan.
“A big part of what we’ve done right now in the world has been focused on technology for people who have been underserved, whether that’s been in crypto or anything else. But one of the places where we felt there was lackluster performance was in the mobile industry. And so with Trump Mobile, we’re going to be introducing an entire package of products,” he added.

According to Trump, people will be able to “get telemedicine on their phones for one flat monthly fee, roadside assistance for their cars,” and “unlimited texting for 100 countries around the world.”
“We think we’re going to be giving something unique to the American people,” he said at the press conference.
The plan would go for $47.45 a month, a play on Trump being the 45th and 47th president. The gold-colored Android 15 smartphone, titled the T1, will be available by September 2025, according to the website.

“This year has really been a year of technology,” Eric Trump said. “More and more, our company is evolving into various sectors and, you know, but there is kind of a key to that. And that is America, right? I mean, the fact that all your customer service will be done in America.”
“Making phones in America,” he said. “It’s about time we bring products back to our great country, and it’s about time we disrupt this space.”

“We’re not only going to be doing wireless service, we are going to be doing phones that we are going to build in America,” a partner named Pat O’Brien said. “Our call center is based in America, and we’re focusing on really making these programs great for American people so that we can actually deliver something to them that they normally don’t get, and that service with a value.”
