Labour Ministers Under Pressure After Palestine Action Protesters Vandalise RAF Planes

Protesters from Palestine Action managed to gain access to RAF Brize Norton and spray red paint into two Voyager planes. Zipping around unabated on electric scooters and leaving undetected…

Here’s the footage from the recent incident at RAF Brize Norton in which two Voyager aircraft were damaged by spray paint and crowbars by Palestine Action members. These aircraft, despite claims made by the group, aren’t involved in Israeli operations. pic.twitter.com/7OnnedZBoV

They said they were damaging UK operations in the Middle East:

“Despite publicly condemning the Israeli government, Britain continues to send military cargo, fly spy planes over Gaza and refuel US/Israeli fighter jets. Britain isn’t just complicit, it’s an active participant in the Gaza genocide and war crimes across the Middle East. By decommissioning two military planes, Palestine Action have directly intervened to break the chains of oppression.”

Unfortunately for the protestors the two planes they targeted are only involved in counter-Daesh operations in Iraq and Syria. Couldn’t organise a piss up in a..

UPDATE: An MoD spokesman said:

“We strongly condemn this vandalism of Royal Air Force assets. We are working closely with the police who are investigating.

Our Armed Forces represent the very best of Britain. They put their lives on the line for us, and their display of duty, dedication and selfless personal sacrifice are an inspiration to us all. It is our responsibility to support those who defend us.”
