U.S. Rep. Max Miller (R-Ohio) shared a video online declaring that he was “run off the road” by an “unhinged, deranged man” who displayed a Palestinian flag.
The Republican lawmaker, who served as a senior advisor to President Donald J. Trump during his first administration and spent six years in the Marine Corps Reserves, is Jewish — it’s not clear if the alleged aggressive driver was aware of this.
“This morning as I was driving to work, some unhinged deranged man decided to lay on his horn and run me off the road when he couldn’t get my attention to show me a Palestinian flag, not to mention death to Israel, death to me — that he wanted to kill me and my family,” the congressman stated in the video. “Thank God my daughter was not in my vehicle or anybody else at the time.”
“We know exactly who you are,” Miller added.
“The deranged hatred in this country has gotten out of control,” he wrote in a post on X, before claiming that “the life of me and my family was threatened by a person who proceeded to show a Palestinian flag before taking off.”
The deranged hatred in this country has gotten out of control. Today I was run off the road in Rocky River, and the life of me and my family was threatened by a person who proceeded to show a Palestinian flag before taking off. I have filed a police report with Capitol Police and… pic.twitter.com/H6JnupcRIA

“I have filed a police report with Capitol Police and the local police department, Miller wrote. “We know who this person is and he will face justice. As a Marine, a proud Jewish American and a staunch defender of Israel, I will not hide in the face of this blatant antisemitic violence.”
The Rocky River Police Department confirmed to Fox News Digital that the incident was reported and that an investigation was now underway.
Speaking of unhinged, one social media user suggested the real victim here may be the person waving the Palestinian flag:
Evidence? There are contradictions in your story. In the post, you say the life of your family was threatened, but in the video you said you were alone. How do we know you did not run the other guy off the road? The trouble is we have seen time and again with Zionists how every…

Here’s a sampling of other responses to the story, as seen on X:
Hamas has become a constituency of the Democratic Party.

I’m so sorry to hear this happened to you. It should not be happening in America. It’s so heartbreaking and depressing.

Glad you’re okay, Max. Sadly, this antisemitism and violence has been promoted by most Democrat politicians.

I’m glad you’re all ok. That’s awful. I went to sleep over night at about 60 years old and suddenly everybody’s OK with antisemitism. It’s baffling and horrifying. I thought we would “never forget”. Well… I’ll never forget.
