AOC Exposed After Claiming She’s a ‘Bronx Girl,’ Who Eats ‘Queens Boys for Breakfast’

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is facing renewed scrutiny over her biography after referring to herself as a “Bronx girl” during an online exchange with President Donald Trump on Tuesday.

The exchange came as Ocasio-Cortez called for Trump’s impeachment following his authorization of strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

The progressive congresswoman posted on X, criticizing the president’s decision, writing, “Mr. President, don’t take your anger out on me – I’m just a silly girl. Take it out on whoever convinced you to betray the American people and our Constitution by illegally bombing Iran and dragging us into war. It only took you 5 months to break almost every promise you made.”

She continued, “Also, I’m a Bronx girl. You should know that we can eat Queens boys for breakfast. Respectfully.”

Ocasio-Cortez’s remarks were in response to Trump’s earlier post, where he dismissed her criticism and mocked her intelligence.

“Stupid AOC, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, one of the ‘dumbest’ people in Congress, is now calling for my Impeachment, despite the fact that the Crooked and Corrupt Democrats have already done that twice before. The reason for her ‘rantings’ is all of the Victories that the U.S.A. has had under the Trump Administration. The Democrats aren’t used to WINNING, and she can’t stand the concept of our Country being successful again,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Trump added, “Go ahead and try impeaching me again, MAKE MY DAY!”

Following the exchange, critics on social media challenged Ocasio-Cortez’s claim of being from the Bronx, pointing to her upbringing in the affluent Westchester County suburb of Yorktown Heights.

According to reporting by The New York Times, Ocasio-Cortez lived in the Bronx until the age of five before her family relocated to Yorktown Heights, where she spent the remainder of her childhood.

Conservative commentator Michael Knowles posted a map of the greater New York City area on X, highlighting the distance between Yorktown Heights and the Bronx.

“The town in blue is the suburb I grew up in. The town in red is the (richer, whiter) suburb AOC grew up in. The area in the black circle way down at the bottom is the Bronx,” Knowles wrote.

According to DataUSA, the median household income in Yorktown Heights is over $138,000, and the median home value exceeds $600,000.

The broader political dispute between Ocasio-Cortez and Trump stems from the administration’s recent military action targeting Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.

Trump ordered the strikes early Sunday local time, utilizing B-2 bombers to hit sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.

The action has drawn mixed reactions on Capitol Hill, with some Democrats calling for Congressional authorization and others, like Ocasio-Cortez, asserting the move constitutes an impeachable offense.

While no formal articles of impeachment have been introduced in response to the strike, a small number of House Democrats have indicated interest in pursuing measures to restrict further military action without Congressional approval.

As the administration continues to defend the mission as a necessary act to neutralize Iran’s nuclear capabilities, political fallout from the operation—both domestic and international—remains ongoing.
