A moment on the House floor got extremely heated and personal during a hearing on improving the visa process.
During a House Judiciary Subcommittee hearing titled “Restoring Integrity and Security to the Visa Process,” Republican Rep. Chip Roy went off on a CATO Institute witness.
Roy was grilling the witness over the murders of innocent Americans due to lax illegal immigration enforcement and accused “people parading around as Libertarians” of helping the Biden administration let illegal criminals roam America’s streets.
The witness took issue with Roy’s statement and shot back.
That’s when it got interesting.
“I don’t have any time to listen to libertarian claptrap that is killing Americans!” Roy hammered in the short clip that was shared by Breitbart News Editor Bradley Jaye:

Plenty of X users chimed in to criticize the “purity” of the Libertarian doctrine with many claiming the party has been ‘taken over’ by ‘whiny betas’:

It’s easy to forget libertarians are ideologically open borders-they do not believe in immigration restrictions. What’s more interesting about this exchange is that the congressional Democrats keep bringing him as an expert witness but deny accusations of being open border.
