A father jumped into the Atlantic Ocean to rescue his daughter after she fell overboard from the Disney Dream cruise ship on Sunday, treading water for approximately 20 minutes before they were both pulled to safety, as reported by The New York Post.
The incident occurred while the Disney Dream was en route from Florida to the Bahamas. An emergency alert broadcast over the ship’s public address system, stating “Mr. MOB … port side,” signaled a man overboard situation, prompting an immediate response from the crew.
According to eyewitness accounts posted on social media, the girl fell from the ship’s fourth deck into the ocean. Her father reportedly jumped in without hesitation to rescue her.
