
The verdict is in, and celebrities are reacting to the jury’s decision in the case against music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
To recap, Combs was on trial for five charges, but was ultimately only found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted of the most serious charge, racketeering, as well as trafficking, one of the charges that was directly tied to his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. Each of the charges on which Combs was found guilty carrying a possible sentence of 10 years each and federal prosecutors are pushing for the maximum 20-year sentence.
Celebrities had a lot to say about the verdict, with rapper 50 Cent weighing in on Instagram. Sharing a photo of himself with a huge smile, he wrote: “Diddy beat the Rio, that boy a bad man ! He like the Gay John Gotti.”
Former protegee of Diddy, Aubrey O’Day, posted a video of herself reacting to the news with the caption “Wow.”
“This makes me physically ill,” she can he be heard saying, adding “Oh my god, not guilty on Cassie!”
Artist Boosie also weighed in:
