Rep. Maxwell Frost, D-Florida, was buried in backlash after making an absolutely vile comment about pro-lifers.
It’s no secret that leftists hate the pro-life movement, but Frost’s comments at the end of a long House Rules Committee meeting on the “Big, Beautiful Bill” had his Republican colleagues accusing him of having “gone over a cliff.”
During his testimony, he told Rep. Teresa Leger Fernández, D-New Mexico, that he believes the “right to life” is a Democratic Party value and that makes him “proud to be a Democrat.” He then proceeds to make a horrifying remark at the expense of murdered children.
FROST: “They say they’re pro-life because they want the baby to be born, go to school and get shot in the school. Die in the school, die on the streets.”
FOXX: “You are not going to come into this room and impugn our integrity!” pic.twitter.com/j3bZIuJSAK

“I think that the theme that we are seeing is, you said it, a right to life versus their desire for profit. You just described that, and in this bill that’s what we see over and over again: the right to life, because you need the health insurance, versus the right for profit,” Fernández said.
“You see, they say they’re pro-life because they want the baby to be born, go to school, and get shot in the school. Die in the schools, die on the streets–,” Frost said, sparking a severe reaction from the Republicans present.
“I was not going to say anything, but you’ve gone over the cliff!” shouted Rep. Virginia Foxx, R-North Carolina.
“I move to strike his words,” Rep. Austin Scott, R-Georgia, followed up.
“I have not gone over the cliff.,” Frost retorted.
“You have gone over! We were going to be quiet, but you’ve gone over now!” Foxx said.
“He didn’t, you did,” Fernández chimed in.
“I meant every word,” Frost doubled down.
“We are going to strike the words. But on the other hand, it might be good to leave your words,” Foxx mused. “Might be good to leave your words. Because that’s how you feel. But you are not going to come into this room and impugn our integrity! You will not! We are pro-life people, from conception to natural death, most of us are. And don’t you come in here and say, we want to preserve life so people can get shot!”
“That’s what I’ve seen,” Frost said smugly.
