Trump initiative rescues migrant children Biden left to be abused by unvetted sponsors

The Biden administration repeatedly and habitually allowed unaccompanied illegal alien children to fall into the hands of abusers and exploiters, according to a Trump Department of Homeland Security (DHS) initiative.

In February, the Trump DHS launched the initiative to identify and locate unaccompanied illegal alien children who were pawned off to unvetted, untrustworthy sponsors, as reported on Wednesday by Fox News.

DHS just rescued two sisters aged 16 and 18 who came into the U.S. as unaccompanied minors.

They were allegedly being pimped out for s*x out of a hotel in West Covina, California.

“Children’s safety and security is non-negotiable,” Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) spokesperson Laszlo Baksay said in a statement to Fox News.

“The previous administration’s failure to implement meaningful safeguards has allowed vulnerable kids to fall into the hands of criminals. Our special agents are working tirelessly to locate these alien children, ensure their protection, and hold accountable those who have abused the system,” Baksay added.

The initiative led to the discovery of numerous sponsors “in possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sponsors who forced minors into labor, and sponsors who subjected children to neglectful living conditions,” Fox News notes.

The initiative also led to the discovery of a number of sponsors who’d previously been convicted of serious crimes, including but not limited to hits-and-runs, attempted murder, prostitution, and drug trafficking.

The worst cases involved sponsors who claimed to be family members of the unaccompanied illegal alien children, got custody of them, and then proceeded to rape and impregnate them.

According to former U.S. Border Patrol chief Chris Clem, what was happening was suspected, if not outright known.

“We knew from a law enforcement perspective, our job was to do the immediate safety check, and then we had to process the kids and place them in the custody of the Office of Refugee [Resettlement],” he told Fox News.

“Now, what happened from there, we didn’t have specifics, but we knew … it was government. … We knew there [were] probably problems — the vetting and being able to ask questions to the kids was never something we were really allowed to do,” he added.

Baksay, meanwhile, said that, thanks to the Trump administration, unaccompanied illegal alien children are finally being taken care of.

“Our agents are doing what should’ve been done all along: protecting children, not pushing them into the shadows,” he said.

“This is the responsibility of any government, Republican or Democrat, but it was the Trump administration that insisted on rigorous sponsor screening and biometric verification. Those guardrails were dismantled, and we’re now seeing the consequences,” he added.

All this comes following a report in October from investigative journalist James O’Keefe accusing the General Services Administration (GSA) of treating unaccompanied minors it’d been paid to transport like “commodities — like potato chips on a truck.”

“What you know, you cannot unknow,” GSA contract specialist Clarissa Rippee told O’Keefe. “It’s about the children, and it’s my duty now to speak up.”

Earlier in 2024, Dr. Phil McGraw educated the uneducated hosts of “The View” about how “known” child sex rings were operating right under the nose of Biden’s DHS.

“I talked to the head of all the border guards down there, the head of the union — I asked him straight-up, kids are coming over the border with numbers written on them, phone numbers, and addresses. Do we check those out?” he told the hosts.

“[The head of the union] said, ‘Well, we call them,’” Dr. Phil continued. “Is it possible that we’re sending them into known prostitution rings or sweatshops?’ He said, ‘It’s not possible. It is absolute.’ We are using American tax dollars to ship children into known prostitution and sweatshops.”
