Panthers’ Xavier Legette Proves He’s Real-Life Hero In Most Country Way Imaginable

How can you not love this guy?

Xavier Legette, a wide receiver for the Carolina Panthers, has become quite familiar with the viral video scene. You have the clip of him riding horses, admitting that he likes to eat raccoon, and here we go again with Legette going viral as he proved that he’s a real-life hero by saving an ATV rider who got stranded.

Recently, Legette was hanging out with a friend and soaking in some sun, when all of a sudden they came across someone riding an ATV who got stuck in some incredibly muddy water. Legette, who appears to understand the game when it comes to ATVs stalling in the mud, tried to help out the rider by giving him some advice on how to do so. However, it ended up not working, so Legette gloriously decides to get in the water and get dirty to help the rider escape.

You can watch the video of the scene here.

Now sadly, it’s not known if Xavier Legette got out the ATV (I’m assuming his friend turned off the camera to help), but I’m gonna guess that they were successful considering an NFL player was pulling it out.

And just imagine being the guy on the ATV, just randomly getting saved by an NFL player … such a cool story to have for yourself.
