Now we’re starting to get corny with this whole Caitlin Clark thing …
Following Tuesday’s practice, Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark was seen on video throwing a football, with one scene in particular seeing her toss a rainbow pass across the court and into the arms of a receiver who was at the opposite end.
Clark has been sidelined for the past five Indiana games because of a groin injury, but it’s expected that she will be back in action Wednesday when the Fever square off against the Golden State Valkyries. Prior to her groin issue, she missed more time due to a left quadriceps strain. (RELATED: Here’s When You Can Expect Caitlin Clark’s Return From Groin Injury)
So I get it, with her coming back and missing a lot of time this season, many people (fans and media) are anxious to see her back hoopin’, but do we have to be corny about it?
I kid you not, I went to 10 different sports blogs, and eight of them were jokingly pushing the same “Caitlin Clark should be signed by the Indianapolis Colts after throwing this bomb!” nonsense.
Like I said, I understand people’s excitement, but … roll the tape.

You see what I mean?
We’re really making a big deal about her playing catch after a practice … LMAO … and this is nothing against Clark. If anything, this proves even more the power of “The Caitlin Clark Effect.”
But I’m just saying, we’ve finally hit the point where we care about Caitlin Clark way too much.
