In a poorly thought-out move, Chelsea Clinton took to social media in response to the catastrophic flooding in Texas to promote the Clinton Global Initiative for being “on the ground… supporting families, communities and ongoing search and rescue efforts.”
Popular podcast host Megyn Kelly stirred Clinton’s ire when she weighed in to say the responses to the post were “amazing.”

“Hi Megyn – I’m sure any of the organizations I mentioned which are on the ground in Texas would welcome your support,” Clinton wrote in response to Kelly’s observation. “I would be happy to put you in touch directly. We all need to support those impacted by the tragic floods in Kerr county and surrounding areas.”
Not distracted by the virtue signaling, Kelly fired back with a double-barreled response: “Chelsea, what we are seeing in the replies to your post is that while you love to play fake philanthropist, absolutely no one wants your family of grifters anywhere near those suffering in Texas, Haiti or anywhere else.”

And with that, Clinton fell silent, apparently realizing she was about to get drubbed if she continued.
As for the responses to the story, as Kelly noted above, it truly is amazing — as in how negative folks view the Clinton name. When Slick Willy left office, the family legacy may have been on life support, but it was still breathing. Hillary entered the picture and, between Benghazi and her embarrassing election loss to President Donald J. Trump, smothered it with a pillow.
Here’s a quick sampling of some of the responses to the story, as seen on X:
People are over the Clintons. Go away. Money hungry, crooked and evil. The end. https://t.co/sJikGz9lHl

The people of Haiti would like a word…

Are you using USAID money or the money your family stole from Haiti?

It’s like the Boy Who Cried Wolf. No one believes you anymore. No one thinks these organizations help anyone. The money funnels back to people who don’t need it.

Hi Chelsea – there are many organizations on the ground in Texas people will support. Anything dealing with your family is a nonstarter. Especially when children are involved.

Dear God….I hope this isn’t a repeat of all the children your family attempted to abduct from Haiti.

Call them out for exactly what they are a bunch of grifting leeches! The Clinton family is one of the worst families in America

Somebody had to be direct and tell her the truth. I think she still thinks the Clinton name is powerful and important.
