Megyn Kelly confirms it’s Bongino or Bondi before making ‘obvious’ choice – Glenn Beck agrees

Confirmation of unrest within the Justice Department found leading voices with conservative media agreeing amid Jeffrey Epstein fallout, “… it’s Bongino or Bondi — and the pick is obvious.”

A whirlwind week of coverage and dissent among the ranks of President Donald Trump’s most loyal supporters has shown that the way the DOJ went about buttoning up investigations of the late convicted sex offender was wanting. Now, after Attorney General Pam Bondi had backtracked on previous statements regarding Epstein’s client list, Megyn Kelly was among those confirming FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino was making a career ultimatum as a consensus spread, “Bondi must go.”

Taking to X the same day she joined Turning Point USA founder and CEO Charlie Kirk at his Student Action Summit, the SiriusXM host posted, “Can confirm it’s Bongino or Bondi — and the pick is obvious. Bondi must go.”

Likewise, after covering the varied implications of the joint DOJ and FBI memo that declared there to be no “incriminating ‘client list’” and the questions surrounding the missing minute for released prison footage that didn’t even show Epstein’s cell door, radio host Glenn Beck did a live video from the side of the road to issue a “direct plea” to the president upon learning that Bongino was threatening to leave the FBI if Bondi stayed on as the government’s top cop.

“Please, President Trump, I know you’re not involved at this level, I know that your are busy working on huge, huge projects, but America can’t lose Dan Bongino. He has so much credibility,” remarked Beck before going on to add, “Pam Bondi has created so much doubt and chaos in this whole thing. There’s no reason for all of this. So, either it’s a massive coverup or she’s just fouled this up every single time.”

Daily Wire White House Correspondent Mary Margaret Olohan had confirmed a report from Semafor White House Correspondent Shelby Talcott, “Bongino in particular, one source said, is frustrated that the DOJ, at the start of this week, declared the Epstein case effectively closed and determined that the accused sex trafficker died by suicide while awaiting trial, with few further details shared. He wants more documents unsealed, the source added.”

She had also reported that sources within the DOJ had noted that FBI Director Kash Patel was in accord with Bongino and would consider leaving as well if Bondi wasn’t ousted over “frustrations with other documents Bondi hasn’t released.” Shortly thereafter, Olohan shared a statement from White House deputy press secretary Harrison Fields, who said, “President Trump has assembled a highly qualified and experienced law and order team dedicated to protecting Americans, holding criminals accountable, and delivering justice to victims.”

“This work is being carried out seamlessly and with unity. Any attempt to sow division within this team is baseless and distracts from the real progress being made in restoring public safety and pursuing justice for all,” the press secretary added.

Similarly, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche had addressed the involvement of Patel and Bongino in the concerning memo and stated, “All of us signed off on the contents of the memo and the conclusions stated in the memo. The suggestion that there was any daylight between the FBI and DOJ leadership on this memo’s composition and release is patently false.”

Meanwhile, live reaction from some of the president’s most ardent supporters at Friday’s Turning Point USA event found Kirk asserting, “It’s 7,000 to 0,” after polling the audience about who they’d rather see retained by the administration. Kelly noted of that response as others reacted to the story across social media, “You know why? Because Dan understands MAGA. Dan’s part of the MAGA movement. Dan’s … an advocate and a fierce warrior. He’s been in the trenches.”

“I mean, with all due respect to Pam Bondi … do you really think she gets MAGA. I don’t think so,” asserted Kelly. “She wouldn’t have behaved this way if she did. And now it’s a time for choosing. It’s a time for choosing.”
