Rosie O’Donnell fires back after Trump trolls the pants off her

Comedian Rosie O’Donnell fired back at President Donald Trump after he trolled her in a social media post.

O’Donnell left the U.S. in protest of Trump’s election win, but she has continued to insert herself in criticism of his administration. The decades-long war of words between the two continued after the president quipped that he might revoke her U.S. citizenship amid O’Donnell’s constant critiques fired off from her new home in Ireland.

After Trump called the former talk show host a “Threat to Humanity” in a Truth Social post, O’Donnell let loose with posts of her own, attacking the president as a “dangerous old soulless man.”

“Hey Donald – you’re rattled again? 18 years later and I still live rent-free in that collapsing brain of yours,” O’Donnell wrote in a post on Instagram that included a photo of Trump posing with Jeffrey Epstein.

“You call me a threat to humanity – but I’m everything you fear: a loud woman a queer woman. A mother who tells the truth an american who got out of the country b4 u set it ablaze,” continued the 60-year-old, who left the U.S. for the Dublin suburb of Howth with her 12-year-old child.

“You crave loyalty – I teach my children to question power you sell fear on golf courses – I make art about surviving trauma you lie, you steal, you degrade – I nurture, I create, I persist. You are everything that is wrong with america… I’m not yours to silence. I never was,” O’Donnell ranted.

O’Donnell defamed the president as “a criminal con man sexual abusing liar out to harm our nation to serve himself” in one of her posts, adding, “this is why i moved to ireland.”

She topped off her rant by calling Trump “a dangerous old soulless man with dementia who lacks empathy compassion and basic humanity- i stand in direct opposition all he represents- so do millions of others.”

The president poked O’Donnell in a Truth Social post last week, writing, “Because of the fact that Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship.”

“She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her,” Trump continued. “GOD BLESS AMERICA!”

Speaking with reporters, the president said O’Donnell is “a mess.”

“Rosie’s a mess. She’s a mess, but she left our country — which is a good thing, not a bad thing,” he said.

And while many social media users found the humor in his trolling of his longtime critic, O’Donnell had many come to her defense, including fellow comedian Ellen DeGeneres.

“Good for you @rosie,” the 67-year-old actress and former talk show host wrote in a post on Instagram, sharing O’Donnell’s post.

Like O’Donnell, DeGeneres also decided to flee the U.S., vowing she is “never coming back” to the States. The Emmy-winner is now raising chickens and goats at a farmhouse in Cotswolds, England, with her wife, Portia.
