New details were released Monday on Cleveland Browns rookie Quinshon Judkins’s domestic violence arrest, with the arrest report claiming he punched his girlfriend in the face.
Judkins and his girlfriend had arrived at Fort Lauderdale Airport on July 7 when a dispute began, the report from the Fort Lauderdale Police Department states. The couple then entered a rental Lamborghini SUV and the alleged victim attempted to explain that the text messages Judkins was receiving were untrue. Judkins allegedly punched her with a closed fist in the mouth/chin area, the report says. This blow left “clearly evident” bruising, according to police.
Judkins pulled the vehicle over as the alleged victim exited to call Judkins’ mother before moving to the backseat. While she was in the backseat, the report continues, Judkins turned around while driving and struck her multiple times on her left arm and thigh, which also left visible bruising. The victim reported the incident to the Fort Lauderdale Police on July 12. When asked why she waited to report the alleged strikes, she said she felt bad due to Judkins’ recent success in his football career, the report states.
Judkins was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery and spent the night at Fort Lauderdale jail before getting released on $2500 bond Sunday morning.
The 21-year old national championship winning running back was drafted 36th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns. Judkins, who has high hopes to be an impactful player in the NFL on a new and improved Browns team, will now face criminal charges before he even gets to step on the field.
