Bombshell Russiagate docs ‘indict’ media, that’s why they’re hiding them: Hemingway

Deafening silence from the Fourth Estate regarding the latest on Russiagate had Mollie Hemingway blasting corporate media for being “complicit in the crimes.”

From the Russia collusion hoax to the impeachments of President Donald Trump and the indictments brought against him between terms, the media has demonstrated its favor for breathless wall-to-wall coverage overflowing with Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Now that the keystone for bias and bluster presented as fact appeared to be crumbling from simple transparency, Hemingway cut through the noise — or rather lack thereof — as damning documents declassified by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard found the media “hiding it.”

Appearing on Fox News’ “America Reports” alongside Fox News national correspondent Bill Melugin, the editor-in-chief of The Federalist recapped the alleged details of the suppressed intelligence community assessment and the subsequent production of a counter-assessment suggesting Russian impact on the 2016 presidential election.

“They pushed this absolutely delusional conspiracy theory for years,” said Hemingway before contrasting the fervor with which the hoax had been covered with how corporate media was avoiding the scandalous revelations deemed a “treasonous conspiracy.”

“Now that we know the real story — and the real story is shocking … — the media are hiding it. And why? Because they were complicit in the crimes that were committed,” she insisted. “They can’t very well report what actually happened, because the whole conspiracy would have gone nowhere if the media hadn’t been so willing to just republish these lies from Obama officials.”

During the report, Melugin had brought up an X post from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence that directly called out both The New York Times and The Washington Post, each having been awarded the Pulitzer Prize for coverage of Russiagate.

“Did you not hear that DNI Gabbard exposed a story with historic implications yesterday? Why the media black out?” wondered the ODNI press team. “Why are you afraid to tell the truth to the American people? Ignoring the culpability of Obama and your deep state sources will not change the fact that you aided them in lying to the American people.”

“They were pushing it in real time,” Hemingway said of corporate media figures who pushed the Russia collusion story in contrast to recent comments on CNN and MSNBC dismissive of the documents declassified by Gabbard. “They’re lying when they say this is just quibbling about things. The information released by Tulsi Gabbard shows that career officials in our intelligence agencies were screaming from the rooftops that what Obama and Brennan and Comey were doing was not true. And they have the emails and the documents showing that.”

Before ending the segment, Melugin reminded the audience about the Pulitzers awarded to the Times and Post while reactions on social media found added fault, accusing the so-called news of being little more than narrative-minders.
