Marcus Morris Sr., currently a free agent in the NBA, was reportedly placed under arrest Sunday in Broward County, Florida on felony fraud charges.
A half of the Morris Twins, with Los Angeles Lakers power forward Markieff Morris being the other, Morris last suited up for the Dallas Mavericks in the 2023-24 campaign. He’s currently a free agent.
According to reports, Morris is currently in jail with no bond set, with his arrest being based on a felony out-of-state warrant after he allegedly wrote a bad check. TMZ were the first ones to report the news. No other information is known regarding the arrest of Morris. (RELATED: Kevin Love Has Quite Fascinating Reaction To Getting Traded From Heat To Jazz)
The arrest is the latest example of the legal problems that the Morris brothers have faced.
Marcus Morris was given a misdemeanor battery citation back in 2011 after a situation at a nightclub while he played college basketball for the Kansas Jayhawks.

In 2015, just a few years later, both of the brothers were hit with felony aggravated assault charges while in Phoenix. That incident was connected to an alleged attack that took place against Erik Hood.
The twins have been playing in enforcer-style roles throughout their NBA careers. For Marcus, he’s currently placed in free agency, with the Philadelphia 76ers and Cleveland Cavaliers being his latest homes.
Morris, who has played 13 years in the NBA, has taken part in 832 total games in his career, and is starting to make the transition over to the media making consistent appearances on ESPN programs such as “First Take” and “Get Up.”
