Pete Hegseth trolls the Sydney Sweeney haters with a triggering photo. It was too easy!

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth couldn’t help but put his two cents in on the Sydney Sweeney jeans controversy.

In a perfect world, Hegseth wouldn’t have to make any post on the subject because people would not be outraged by a simple American Eagle advertisement. But alas, the world is not perfect and leftists have to be upset about something or their heads might explode.

The Department of Defense Rapid Response X account decided to have a laugh at the expense of the perpetually offended, posting a photo of Hegseth deboarding a plane in, you guessed it, a pair of jeans.

Look:

“[Hegseth] has great jeans,” the cheeky caption reads.

Haters quickly flocked to the post, eager to spread their anger across social media:

Still, others managed to maintain their sense of humor:

As BizPac Review previously reported, the left’s anger over Sweeney only deepened after it was reported that she is a registered Republican in the state of Florida. Even President Donald Trump admitted he loves her ad now after learning of her political leanings.

“She’s a registered Republican?” Trump asked. “Oh, now I love her ad.”

“You’d be surprised at how many people are Republicans,” he added before traveling back to Washington D.C from New Jersey. “That’s what I wouldn’t have known, but I’m glad you told me that. If Sydney Sweeney is a registered Republican, I think her ad is fantastic.”
