South Park responds to Trump’s DHS recruitment post with a vulgar caption

The ongoing war of words between the creators of “South Park” and President Donald Trump’s administration received another episode on Tuesday.

The official Department of Homeland Security (DHS) X account used a screengrab from the animated show to encourage recruitment for those interested in applying for a career in ICE.

The caption, “JOIN.ICE.GOV” linked to a webpage detailing the perks new hirees would receive, including “$50,000 signing bonuses, student loan relief, law enforcement availability pay of 25% for Homeland Security Investigations Special Agents,” as BizPac Review previously reported.

“South Park” shared this post on their own X account, giving it an X-rated caption to express the depth of their displeasure.

“Wait, so we ARE relevant?” they wrote, adding the hashtag “#eatabagofd**ks.”

The image shared on the account is from an “upcoming episode, depicting six U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents riding in a black car,” according to The Hill.

A response to the latest post from DHS shows that they aren’t taking the beef seriously and are going to use it to their advantage to achieve their goals of enforcing federal immigration laws in the United States.

“We want to thank South Park for drawing attention to ICE law enforcement recruitment: We are calling on patriotic Americans to help us remove murderers, gang members, pedophiles, and other violent criminals from our country,” said a department spokesperson in a statement.

The cartoon has recently targeted the president, depicting him being in bed with their devil character. It didn’t take long for the White House to issue a dismissive response, calling the show “irrelevant.”

“The show’s creators also recently blasted the looming merger between Skydance and Paramount Global, calling the move a ‘s‑‑‑show.’ The comments came just weeks before the Trump administration approved the $8 billion deal,” The Hill reported. “The agreement drew controversy after CBS, which is owned by Paramount, settled a $16 million lawsuit with Trump over a ’60 Minutes’ interview with former Vice President Kamala Harris, and following the outlet’s decision to sunset the ‘Late Show with Stephen Colbert.’”

Other satirical depictions include Charlie Kirk and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.
