Democrat Whistleblower Gives ‘Very Specific’ Information Implicating Adam Schiff [WATCH]

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) is facing serious allegations stemming from newly declassified FBI documents that reportedly link him to the approval of leaking classified information in an effort to discredit President Donald Trump.

The information comes from a whistleblower identified as a longtime Democratic staff member on the House Intelligence Committee, whose account is detailed in a 302 report declassified by FBI Director Kash Patel.

The report was among a series of documents recently made public following earlier releases by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.

According to the documents obtained by Just The News and handed over to Congress, the whistleblower informed the FBI that Schiff approved the leaking of classified material during a meeting in 2017.

The whistleblower, who had worked for Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee for over a decade, described the decision as “treasonous” and “illegal,” in addition to being unethical.

The whistleblower’s concerns were documented in FBI interviews, the most recent of which took place in 2023.

In the report, the intelligence staffer stated that he personally attended a meeting in which Schiff called all staff together and gave the go-ahead for the leak.

“When working in this capacity, [redacted staffer’s name] was called to an all-staff meeting by SCHIFF,” the report states.

The whistleblower claimed that after he voiced objections, other unnamed attendees assured him they would not be caught leaking the information.

The FBI documents suggest that the leak was intended to damage President Trump during the height of the public and political controversy surrounding allegations of Russian election interference—claims that have since been widely discredited.

This is not the first time Schiff’s handling of sensitive matters has drawn scrutiny.

He played a key role in the events leading to the first impeachment of President Trump, a process sparked by the Ukraine whistleblower complaint in 2019.

Critics have also accused him of selectively releasing or withholding intelligence to serve partisan objectives during his tenure as chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.

The whistleblower’s statements add to a growing body of information suggesting misconduct by senior congressional figures in handling classified information during the Trump presidency.

The report is now in the possession of Congress, where lawmakers will determine potential next steps, including whether to pursue formal investigation or disciplinary action.

As of now, Schiff has not issued a public statement in response to the newly released documents or the whistleblower’s allegations.

The revelations come as the California Democrat, now serving in the U.S. Senate, continues to face political opposition over his role in past controversies tied to intelligence oversight and the handling of classified information.

The declassification of these materials marks a significant development in the ongoing release of documents related to the origins of the Russia investigation and related congressional actions.

Both Patel and Gabbard have said that the releases are intended to provide transparency on decisions and conduct within senior government and intelligence circles during that period.
