Don’t expect Khan to crow about hitting his targets – which have also been cut. He did so in previous years by pulling forward future construction projects into the statistics. Robert Colvile, Director of the Centre for Policy Studies, tells Guido: “These figures are utterly disastrous. Both public and private housebuilding in London are in a state of collapse.
