PX Classrooms aims to help Christian home educators to achieve success and maintain a biblical worldview

With the new academic year starting in September, an online Christian home-schooling service is launching dozens of new courses, and it’s not too late to enrol.

Founded in 2023 by Drs Jonathan and Caragh Moore, PX Classrooms has rapidly established itself as a dynamic player in the growing field of online Christian education.

The initiative offers real-time, interactive classes for home-educated children, combining academic excellence with a distinctly Christian worldview.

Aimed primarily at home-educating families in the UK, PX Classrooms provides courses aligned with the British education system.

Students can work towards GCSE and A-Level qualifications while also learning to engage critically with the curriculum through a Christian lens. Supplementary courses cover topics such as Christian worldview and apologetics.

The organisation’s name, “PX,” stands for Paideia Christou—a phrase from Ephesians 6:4 often translated as “the nurture of the Lord,” which implies an all-encompassing education shaped by the comprehensive lordship of Jesus Christ.

While the majority of PX’s students are UK-based, the service also supports learners in North America, Africa, Central Asia, East Asia, and Australasia.

This includes many missionary children, for whom access to a stable Christian education can extend the length of their parents’ ministry overseas. The service also assists Christian schools by filling temporary teaching gaps until they can hire staff.

The move to online learning has been accelerated by factors such as Covid-19 lockdowns, the introduction of Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) legislation in UK schools, and families seeking refuge from bullying or religious discrimination. For some, PX Classrooms offers both an academic lifeline and a community of shared values.

The teaching team—currently about twenty strong—comprises committed Christians who are experts in their respective subjects. Each holds at least one university-level qualification in the subject they teach at PX, ensuring high academic standards while providing students with role models who integrate faith into their discipline.

Caragh Moore emphasises that PX Classrooms is more than a learning provider; it is a space where academic goals and Christian formation go hand in hand. ‘We want students to succeed academically, but also to see how every subject connects with God’s truth,’ she said.

With dozens of new courses launching in September, the founders stress that it is not too late for families to enrol.
